Egoboo Pinball
This was a fairly ambitious project -- to render a fannish pinball machine on a mimeograph stencil. It ran in red ink on the cover of the apa distribution (Apa Q #45), but I've reproduced it here in common black & white for some degree of visibility. Some of the less clear elements on the image include high points for favorable reviews in Locus and the Club House (a prozine column), articles received from Terry Carr, Lee Hoffman, Bob Shaw, art from Jay Kinney, faan fiction from Arnie Katz, and a letter of comment from Walt Willis, as well as nominations for the Hugo or for Faan awards. All of these were once things greatly to be desired; some still are, others no longer possible due to the passing of such lights as Carr, Willis and Shaw.
