The following are among the first images I created using Planetside's Terragen 2 Technology Preview, which allows unlimited (global) landscapes and improved skies plus imported 3-D objects such as the trees in the following images.
From here the trees block most of the valley view.
One may catch a glimpse of the valley beyond the pines and birches.
Closer to the dge of the forest, the valley opens out to the twin peaks in the distance.
From a rougher edge of the valley one gets a more distant view of the trees.
