This was intended as a satire on the classic pulp science fiction covers where stalwart spacemen valiantly rescued lissome, helpless, and preferably scantily clad heroines from the clutches of slavering BEMs* against imaginative alien landscapes. Here the alien is trying to save the helpless spaceman from a menacing, and rather amazonic, babe... Oh, and of course there had to be a space ship somewhere in the background, indicating how the humans got there. I don't know as I did all that great with the landscape, and of course I kept her in a somewhat revealing outfit, but other than that ... Hey, this was done in pre-feminist times and means to evoke an age when nobody's consciousness was raised outside of maybe Tibet (the power to cloud men's minds... Hmmm...).
