I tried to capture images of a variety of musical styles and sources that were familiar to me at the time, surrounding my mental image of a disk jockey at his studio mike. Behind him, the engineer snoozes. I actually got to be a disk jockey at a local station in Bryan, Texas -- KORA, the sweetheart of the airways -- for 15 minutes, as a contest winner. Much later, after high school, I went to school for it, briefly... Another story for another time.
